Dannii Minogue

Dannii prior to her time as a judge on The X Factor was well known to UK audiences as she appeared as the character Emma Jackson in the long running Australian day time soap Home and Away.  She then followed her sister Kyle into the pop world by releasing her first album Love and Kisses in 1991.  She had moderate success with her pop career and ended up releasing six albums and numerous singles  most of her which went to number one in the dance charts.

Danni then became a judge on the Australian version of the show Australia’s Got Talent before she was requested by Simon Cowell to appear on the X Factor 2007.   Onscreen she was famed for arguments with fellow host Sharon Osbourne,  which contributed to Sharon leaving  the show and being replaced by Cheryl Cole as a judge for X Factor 2008.

Dannii managed to beat the X Factor betting odds and Simon Cowell by her category winning the X Factor with her X Factor contestant Leon Jackson and the runner up Rhydian Roberts who was also in her group.
