Gary Barlow

Few will not have heard of the name, Gary Barlow, which is what the producers of the show will be counting on.  With no Simon Cowell this year, Take That's frontman Barlow, will be the bait to draw the crowds. His experience in the music industry cannot be disputed, with the knowledge of success with a Boy Band, the demise of said band and reformation after a very lack lustre solo career.

Barlow should have more knowledge than most to be a good mentor. Whether he has the right personality to work with the contestants is yet to be seen, but he will certainly have ample connections in the recording world to support his endeavours. He is sure to be competitive and want his wards to do well and preferably win!
