Kelly Rowland

Although Kelly Rowland's solo career has stuttered, her time with 'Destiny's Child', saw her enjoy the fame and fortune of one of the world's most successful musical acts.  By contrast fellow bandmate Beyonce, whose father was responsible for developing the brand, has soared to unimaginable heights as a solo artist, climaxing with a gig at Glastonbury this year which had all the music critics in awe.

Kelly is one of the two new females on the judging panel this year and of course brings personal experience and the lustre that any friend of Beyonce's must carry.  Whether she will be able to translate her American style and temperament to the X Factor is yet to be seen, it all depends which group she ends up with and the producers will obviously be mindful of this issue when they assign the judges to their groups.
