Leona Lewis

After being mentored by Simon Cowell and winning X Factor 2006 Leona's debut single, " A Moment Like This" became the worlds fastest selling downloadable single after it was downloaded over 50,000 times within 30 minutes of becoming available after the end of X Factor 2007.

She released her second single entitled "Bleeding Love" which became the highest selling single of 2007 and became a number one single in over 30 countries. She followed this by released her full length album "Spirit" in November 2007 and this became the fastest selling debut album ever in both the United Kingdom and Irish album charts.

Her album was released in April 2008 in the USA and it went straight to number one which Lewis the first ever British solo artist to have a number one with their debut album.  By reaching number one in 9 countries over 3 continents she had the most successful start to her career than any other contestant from a TV talent show.
