19 year old barmaid Sophie Habibis having progressed to the live shows belongs to what  the bookies have regarded as the favourite section from early on in the audition broadcasts, the girl section.

With Janet Devlin and Misha Bryandominating the winning market and Sophie will rely on originality and vocal breadth to stay alongside her fellow group members. Kelly Rowland herself cited her concerns that Sophie was not hungry enough for the competition but obviously thought she had more promise than Jade Richards to have put her through to the live performances.  Sophie could be spurred on by the competition in her group or daunted by it, time will tell.
